Monika Baťková

Monika graduated from the South Bohemian University as a teacher of English and German. She then spent two and a half years in Northern Ireland where she worked as a volunteer on the Children’s Express youth project and later, as a community interpreter. After returning to the Czech Republic, she took an arts therapy course at the Mal- und Gestaltungstherapie Institut in Vienna. She has always had a passion for languages and loves to learn new things herself as well as teaching them to her students. She joined the English College in 2007 as a teacher of German and later, was appointed Senior Tutor. She is interested in the Arts and in her spare time, you will find her dancing Lindy Hop or practising AcroYoga.
